Citu Project

This visit, arranged by the Buildings & Energy group, provides an opportunity to see how this award winning property developer is creating homes that make it easy to live a sustainable life.

Citu's mission is to tackle climate change by using the latest technology to build smart, sustainable homes that make it easy to radically reduce the owners carbon footprint.

They have developed brownfield and redundant sites in Leeds and Sheffield into high quality, very low energy, eco homes (1 - 4 beds) in well balanced communities. Prices compare well with standard mass produced houses.

Citu is now working closely with Leeds City Council to  create a whole community development near the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds city centre. This visit will give you a chance to understand the whole project, visit sample homes and the Citu factory.

It shows  what can be done when a local council forges a visionary partnership with an environmentally driven enterprise.

Places are limit so please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to join the visit.
