Older buildings, even those built just a few years ago, can be very inefficient when it comes to energy conservation. A lack of insulation in roofs, walls and windows means the energy used to heat a building can also leak out very easily. That combined with elderly lighting systems and ageing boilers can make for very high carbon emissions, not to mention costs.

Our guest speakers will explain how an existing building can be retrofitted to improve its thermal efficiency.
