Supporting businesses in sustainability - Peer Advisory Board
This new collaborative forum provides the opportunity to share practical advice and knowledge to support businesses as they work towards their carbon reduction goals.
Often, those responsible for sustainability may have limited experience and access to resources. This support network is a valuable way of boosting that knowledge base to help navigate and develop strategies that affect multiple layers of business operations.
Vision
As this is a pilot scheme, we are currently gathering expressions of interest with a view to hosting a 'taster session' in Harrogate (venue to be confirmed) around April 2024.
We plan to invite businesses to part of a forum of 7-9 members, and collaboratively we will develop evolving sustainability action plans for each member. Meetings will be held every two months with an agreed agenda, follow-up actions, a revolving focus on each business member, and question time.
