Trustee Opportunities
Could you help drive meaningful change for our environment and communities?
We’re seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Trustees at Zero Carbon Harrogate!
This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our charity and the work that we do; our trustees work collaboratively to champion climate action in the area, engaging with numerous businesses, community organisations and groups, local council members and key stakeholders.

You will be involved in making key decisions and be willing to take the lead on driving campaigns, strategies and actions to achieve our objectives. You should be able to present yourself professionally, have good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills. It is essential that our trustees can commit to attend quarterly Board meetings (online and in person) and be proactive outside of meetings.
We welcome diverse perspectives from people of all backgrounds and ages – and are particularly interested in seeing younger applicants to diversify our Board to make sure that we're including multiple perspectives within our work. We can provide support and training or mentorship as needed to help you thrive in your role.

If you want to help shape the future of climate action in the area and are ready to step into a leadership position, please get in touch by emailing hello@zerocarbonharrogate.org.uk with your CV and a Cover Letter.
